Step aboard the Parks and Gardens Cruise and embark on a serene and enchanting journey through the lush river gardens that adorn the picturesque waterways of Melbourne. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature as you explore the tranquil landscapes and discover the hidden gems along the riverbanks.
Lunch will be at the Darebin RSL.

Bus Outing to the Kinglake West National Park – Tuesday 23 April 2024
The park has tables with seats under cover for morning tea. Those wishing to can walk to Mason Falls –30 minutes return (15 minutes there and back) otherwise you can have a leisurely seat to view the flora and fauna in these beautiful mountains.
Lunch will be at the Dark Horse in Kangaroo Grounds amidst a beautiful country setting.

Watsonia 50s Plus Club Inc BBQ
Approximately 80 members had a delightful time at our Christmas BBQ event on Thursday 14th December 2023. Originally planned for the park, we had to move indoors due to the unfavorable weather conditions. Inside the hall, round tables were arranged for everyone's comfort. While John and David expertly grilled the sausages, our remarkable team of women took care of crafting a scrumptious salad for lunch, followed by a delightful serving of ice cream and a homemade fruit salad.
This gathering marked a delightful way to conclude the year for our club.
The club will be re-opening early next year on Wednesday 24th January 2024 for Scrabble from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm, on Thursday 25th January Cards will commence at noon, followed by Bowls and Table Tennis at 1.00 pm. The exercise activities start on Thursday 1st February 2024 at 9.00 am for Tai Chi, 10.00 a.m. for Aerobics, and 10.45 am for Gentle Aerobics. The Monday activities commence on 5th February 2024, Tai Chi at 9.00 and Tai Chi Qigong at 10.00 am.
