Watsonia 50s Plus Club Inc, BBQ 2024
Nearly 100 members came together to enjoy our Christmas BBQ on Thursday, December 19, 2024. While initially planned as an outdoor event in the park, the forecast of hot weather prompted us to move indoors to the hall for everyone’s comfort. Ross and our members organized the round tables to create a welcoming and relaxed setting.
A big thank you to Roger and John for expertly grilling the sausages and our wonderful team of ladies for preparing a delicious salad for lunch. This was followed by a refreshing dessert of ice cream and homemade fruit salad.
This event was a nice way to wrap up the year for our club.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back in the new year:
- Monday, January 13, 2025: Cards and carpet bowls resume
- Wednesday, January 22, 2025: Scrabble restarts
- Monday, February 3, 2025: Tai Chi returns
- Wednesday, February 5, 2025: Tai Chi for Arthritis resumes
- Thursday, February 6, 2025: Aerobics classes restart
On behalf of the committee, I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a safe New Year!
