Departs Victoria Harbour, We cruise downstream along the Yarra through the Port of Melbourne, past Swanston Dock under the Westgate Bridge, and out into Hobson's Bay where we approach the historic Sea Port of Williamstown.  We dock alongside the Gem Pier for one hour, where you can take the opportunity to stroll around Williamstown.  Delicious Fish "N" Chips will be delivered to the Tramboat for our return trip.

Home of Artist Sir Daryl and Joan Lindsay, author of Picnic at Hanging Rock

Sir Daryl Lindsay was the Director of the National Gallery of Victoria from 1941 to 1956.  He was a member of the famous Lindsay family of Artists.  He was an accomplished painter and printmaker.

His wife Lady (Joan) Lindsay was an artist and writer.  Best known for her novel, Picnic at Hanging Rock. Her autobiographical novel Time without clocks is about Lindsay's life together at Mulberry Hill.  The house and its contents, a collection of Australian Art, Georgian furniture and glassware, and Staffordshire ceramics, was bequeathed to the National Trust.

            Enjoy a 3 Day Silo Art Trail Bus trip with the Watsonia 50s Plus Club Inc,

Celebrates the rich heritage of Victoria's Wimmera/Mallee region with a journey along the Silo Art Trail, the country's biggest outdoor gallery. Cruise from town to town and witness this innovative art project that sees renowned street artists from Australia and across the globe transform wheat silos into giant works of art. The trail brings together internationally recognised street artists –Rone (Yyrone Wright), Guido van Helten, Fintan Magee, Matt Adna te, Julia Volchkova, Kaff-eine, –and takes in a number of Victoria's smallest towns. You can find these momentous murals in Sheep Hills, Brim, Patchewollock, Lascelles, and Rupanyup. A unique art project that is still evolving, the Silo Art Trail has already revitalised the towns and brought thousands of new visitors to the region.

Beleura was built on the Mornington Peninsula in 1863.  Its final owner was the composer John Tallis who bequeathed Beleura to the people of Victoria in memory of his late father, Sir John Tallis, well known for his theatre work with J.C. Williamson Ltd.

This trip opens for 36 people and will include either a Guided House Tour or a Guided Tour of the Gardens including Morning Tea and an introduction to the story of Beleura.
