Stopping for morning tea at William Rickett Sanctuary, situated in a ferny glade in the Dandenongs, William Ricketts Sanctuary is a place of beauty and tranquility, due both to the natural setting and the mystical sculptures half hidden among the ferns along the pathways. Many travel across the world to visit this place time and time again.
Lunch: 12 noon at the Crown Hotel - Lilydale, followed by a visit to the Yarra Ranges Regional Museum. A travelling exhibition from Sydney Living Museums - What's on, a convict in the family? The works explore the connections between convict settlers, their direct descendants and the petty crimes that changed the course of their shared histories.
Returning to Greensborough approx 4pm.

When completed in 1869, it was the finest and most celebrated mansion in western Victoria. The house has 42 rooms and features a grand staircase, stained windows and interior arches on the upper floors. The property was originally owned by the Austin family, with Elizabeth Austin being the founder of the Austin Hospital.

Black Rock House
Enjoy a bus trip on Tuesday 28th June to Black Rock House in Melbourne's Bayside. Built by Victoria's first Auditor - General Charles Ebden from 1856 - 58. This intriguing historic Victorian era home is well worth a visit, to see the castle-style fortress wall, sand and paint finish. Moreton Bay Fig garden, antique furniture and costumes presented to reflect the story of the house. Before the tour enjoy a cup of tea or coffee with biscuits in the Servants Quarters.
We then travel to the Glasshouse Cafe at Caulfield where we enjoy a 2 course lunch.
After our meal we make our way home by approx 3.30 pm.

TarraWarra Museum of Art is delighted to offer you the opportunity to visit the Museum and explore the diverse range of Australian art on offer, with a 30 minute self guide tour.
