Beleura was built on the Mornington Peninsula in 1863. Its final owner was the composer John Tallis who bequeathed Beleura to the people of Victoria in memory of his late father, Sir John Tallis, well known for his theatre work with J.C. Williamson Ltd.
This trip opens for 36 people and will include either a Guided House Tour or a Guided Tour of the Gardens including Morning Tea and an introduction to the story of Beleura.

TRAMBOAT NEXT STOP WILLIAMSTOWN
The Watsonia 50s Plus Club outing on Tuesday 18th May 2021 is a cruise on the Tramboat to Williamstown. Included on the cruise is morning tea and Fish "N" Chips for lunch on our return journey to Docklands.
We catch the No 86 Tram from Bundoora Square to the Docklands, the Tramboat is located at Shed 9 Victoria Harbour Docklands, directly opposite Marvel Stadium.
Departs Victoria Harbour at 10.30 am, we cruise downstream along the Yarra through the Port of Melbourne, past Swanson Dock under Westgate Bridge, out into Hobson's Bay where we approach the historic Sea Port of Williamstown.
Delicious Fish "N" Chips will be delivered to the Tramboat for our return trip.

We will be departing at 9 am from the corner of Elder Street & Delta Road, Greensborough and stopping for morning tea at the Arboretum.
The Arboretum has become an extremely attractive local park, popular for outdoor weddings and photographs. It is an ideal educational facility that can be appreciated by the inexperienced and experienced gardeners and tree lovers alike. Then off to Frankston City Centre to see the Murials, All the Green Year, Alice in Wonderland and Stacked Bookshelves.
