Stopping for morning tea at William Rickett Sanctuary, situated in a ferny glade in the Dandenongs, William Ricketts Sanctuary is a place of beauty and tranquility, due both to the natural setting and the mystical sculptures half hidden among the ferns along the pathways.  Many travel across the world to visit this place time and time again.

Lunch: 12 noon at the Crown Hotel – Lilydale, followed by a visit to the Yarra Ranges Regional Museum. A travelling exhibition from Sydney Living Museums – What’s on, a convict in the family? The works explore the connections between convict settlers, their direct descendants and the petty crimes that changed the course of their shared histories.

Returning to Greensborough approx 4pm.
